My name is Vahe Bedrosian, I was born in Bucharest, Romania and I am an architect.

  I like things that are compressed; they hold the potential of great explosions,

….. something like the Universe before the “ Big Bang “…..

Of course, the kind of explosion you get depends on what was compressed to begin with:

  it could have been just “ stuff “ in which case all you get after the explosion are inert, temporary ashes

or

it could have been poetry, in which case you get an infinite chain of explosions, ….. that is how the Universe expands.

I like explosions of the second type, the ones that come out of poetry.

So I paint; painting is an act of compression.

I also paint to tell stories. I like stories about how we could be, but on occasion I will tell stories about how we are.
