I was raised in the greater Los Angeles area. I have been doing some type of art all my life, with a focus on ceramics. At a certain moment, I found that I did not have the space or time to continue ceramics so I had stopped doing any kind of art for about a year. Soon, however I felt myself ready to burst; I needed some kind of outlet so I started to draw with ink. At this time, I would like to thank my friend Joann Libolt who gave me professional paper and ink pens, making my work look even better. In addition, Joann encouraged me to sign-up at the local Whittier Art Gallery where I started to show my work.

I really love drawing with ink and adding some watercolors. In every piece, I try to infuse part of myself into the work. In most of my pieces, I do not plan on what I am going to draw.

I just let it flow. I see part of what could be there on the paper. When the drawing is finished, I hesitate to title it because I do not want to influence what people see. I want you to open your mind and to see whatever you see. I do find that I get my inspiration from nature. For example, at the ocean when I see the pattern on the sand as the water pulls away, I am fascinated with the natural pattern that appears.
