I have been a sculptor for more than 40 years and I have lived in Pasadena, CA since 1983. During all this time I have had a sustained love affair with clay. My output has ranged from small pieces to monumental works. The thematic material that interests me most is the interrelationship between people seen as forms in the clay. Here are some examples of my work: some of the pieces on this page are examples that I made for public buildings many years ago. There are also examples of larger garden installations that I have created for many private residences. Some of the individual pieces are for wall display and other as stand alone decorative works.
I spend many enjoyable hours in a studio in my back yard where I have a kiln, and often collaborate with sculptor Henry Mead on various projects. I sometimes believe that our enthusiasm and love of ceramics generate enough heat to fire the kiln alone!
