I have always been a creative person. Though I have dabbled in painting and drawing and other artistic media, nothing has grabbed my heart and soul like digital photography.
I love all aspects of it, whether it’s fashion, beauty, commercial or family and wedding photography. The rush and excitement I feel when I have a new idea for a photo shoot exhilarates me totally - and I only wish there were more hours in the day to turn all the visions into reality.
I am passionate about what I do. I am constantly updating my skills to keep up with current photographic trends and technology, from learning camera aperture settings, shutter speeds to manipulating exposures, composition, lighting and Photoshop manipulation.
I think outside the box; look for alternative perspectives; I let my imagination soar so that I can create the perfect artistic image of the subject at hand. My goal is to produce stunning images and become the best photographer in Los Angeles.
As a professional wedding photographer (my studio is located in Santa Monica), I offer affordably priced wedding photography packages. My favorite is to mix traditional posed images with photojournalistic wedding photographs. I’m looking for the candid shots to capture the ‘feel’ of the day that is often un-conveyed by the traditional posed settings. I do photo shoots indoors or out; at my studio, or at every location in the Los Angeles area. Other photographic services include model portfolios, actor headshots, individual and family portraits, photographs for on-line dating, fantasy glamour shots, boudoir, and artistic nude photos.
For commercial photography, at my studio or on location I specialize in cosmetic, make-up and hair salon shoots.
I digitally enhance all the images so that the final product is shown at its very best. Though, my aim is to get the image right at the photo shoot – my imagination, eye for beauty and excellent lighting skills create unique images that evoke emotions.
Emotion, beauty and light show the soul of the person being photographed whether they are a professional model/celebrity or the average person in the street.
My commitment and hard work are bringing wider recognition as some of my photographs have been published internationally.
The advent of the digital age has spawned a new generation of artists. It is truly exciting! Online websites allow us remarkable opportunities for social networking with one another and to exchange ideas. For the creation of digital art or special effects, Photoshop or similar digital imaging software are invaluable aids, but knowing how to use the camera effectively, understanding the principles of concept, composition and lighting are, of course, the fundamental necessary skills in photography. My own motivation to learn more and more about my art and my craft is limitless. I look forward to the new skills and insights I acquire each and every day. I love the creative freedom I have found in photography and the knowledge that I am restricted only by my imagination.
