Joe Guimera is a full-time photographer living and working in Manhattan Beach, a suburb of Los Angeles. He started his photographic career in 2004 following a career as a business lawyer. Since then he has had numerous images published in magazines and on art websites. His photographic artworks have been purchased by private and corporate collectors who appreciate the focused attention he dedicates to fine art and editorial photography.
“My subjects are eclectic. Unless a client is paying for a specific shot, I tend to shoot places and objects that interest me or just catch my eye.
My images are of everyday objects, structures and street scenes in which I am always looking to bring attention to the overlooked details of common objects and to highlight textures, colors and patterns hidden within.
I enjoy creating abstract images through experimentation with digital manipulation and I enjoy shooting both color and black and white.”
