I was born in 1966 in Mexico City. I was raised and educated there and I immigrated to the United States in 1985.
My artwork reflects my interest in the 'invisible' members of our society with their inner tensions of the spirit, and the quest for knowledge, beauty and truth. I infuse my art with symbols, archetypes, patterns and sacred geometry that makes an impact on people when they look at my artwork, I want for them to be unsettled and start a process of conscious change.
Together with my husband Victor Amor, in 1999, we opened our studio to the public and created Art Lyceum, Inc. in the city of Alhambra, California.
In my country of origin I have had several group shows; and I was a finalist at the ‘Hermegildo Bustos Inernational Biennale’, held in Guanajuato, Mexico.
