The fluidity of form and intensity of color that permeate the paintings of artist Eve R. de Langeron, who sometimes works under the name Elita Renée, create a dynamic of energies that seem to radiate out from the work. ‘Energy infused’ clearly defines these swirling compositions of abstract expression, that pulsate, infiltrate and capture the viewers attention. Though one is captivated by the magnetism of nervous energy, the works do not forcibly overpower the emotions. The bright tones and ethereal themes are devoid of harshness and gloom, generating an overall effect of positive vibes that seek to uplift rather than to confuse and overwhelm. Gazing into the layered depths of her works is like reading a poem that, line by line, reveals a glimpse of an overall image that will only come when the whole work has been revealed.

There is an incredible lightness and spontaneity to the totality of the works; they invigorate; they are sincere and open expressions of Eve's persona, of her own creative energies, buoyed in the liquid tourbillions of forms and abstract shapes.

Eve R. de Langeron was born and raised in Europe. Although influenced in her formative years by the cold, stark abstractions of contemporary European art, her color palette is now warm and vibrant. Her compositions are softer - more inviting - in deliberate contrast to the jarring, invasive ‘dark negativity’ of modern European art that surrounded her in her youth.
