Cole Strem

I was born late December of 1983 with a crayon in one hand and a guitar pick in the other.

Since that time, I have walked the fine line of creativity between art and music every day of my life.

From preschool art classes to building masks and collages at the art center –art has been my thing.

Elementary art classes included drawing and cartooning at the art museum.

I took courses in Illustration and painting in high school and then studied 3D art, graphic design, silk-screening and printing at MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design).

My love of writing and playing music drew me to Los Angeles where, after graduating as an audio engineer, I started the band "A Dark December" where I am vocalist and play guitar.

I continue to work and play music in the LA area and to express other ideas through my art illustrations and paintings.

I have done commercial work illustrating album covers and promotional posters for music events
