 Claudia Cogo was born in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires in 1963. For the past few years she has shared her time between her home in Argentina and the USA. Before moving to Los Angeles she was in Florida where her work was shown in several galleries.


In 1989, she began her studies at the Buenos Aires Fine Arts School, (“Prilidiano Pueyrredón”). Since graduating she has received numerous awards for her work and has participated in gallery exhibitions throughout Argentina, in Uruguay and in Florida.

In 1999 an award presented to her by the National Salon For Plastic Arts allowed her to travel to Europe to continue her studies.

In 2006 she had solo exhibitions and participation in group shows at Infinity gallery, Little Havana, Miami, the Casa Del Arte Gallery in Downtown Miami, the Ronnie Sanchez Gallery in Sunny Isles and recently a show at the Tower Theater sponsored by Miami Dade College and the Argentine Cultural center of the Argentinean Consulate.

There are examples here of Claudia's work from different series including Still Lifes, Seascapes, Floral & Abstracts.
