For me, creating paintings is healing. In my work I wish to share with you my own awareness to my Soul/Spirit and the healing that has happened through creative self expression. Making art is most important to me, because it creates a connection to my Soul, and the result of Soul contact, is healing on all levels.

Everyone creates, either consciously or unconsciously and each of us expresses that creative urge in a different way. I love to talk about how this process has changed me and how I view the world. What I have gained from my creative journey is a unifying connection to my Soul and how I am unified with others. This connection has helped me heal my self-criticism, opened me up to loving and accepting myself and others. My Soul has given me a new sense of aliveness, joy and faith in my future

My paintings speak a visual language of shapes, symbols and color, and tell the story of my inner journey expressed in my own unique way. Past events and periods which were transitional stages in my life are revealed through my paintings and through the themes which connect them by series.

My emotional series started my healing journey, helping me to identify and release emotions I have held inside from my past, next came abstractions and the desire for creating colorful healing abstracts, followed by nature paintings of landscapes and flowers, teaching me how to calm down, slow down and de-stress myself.

As an artist I have enjoyed participating in many exhibitions and sold many paintings. However, these accomplishments come and go. The real meaning behind the urge to paint has stayed with me and for that I am most grateful.

May peaceful thoughts and feelings come your way today.
